Felguera Calereria Pesada (FCP) forms part of the Duro Felgureras Group and specialises in the manufacture of equipment for refineries, chemical and petrochemical plants, off-shore platforms as well as heavy duty equipment for the associated industries in general.

Through the experience acquired in the manufacture of high quality equipment for the petrochemical sector, the company has consolidated an international reputation as one of the main manufactures of reactors made from thick alloy-steel plate working with the Worlds leading Oil Companies and Main Contractors.

FCP have their factory located in Gijon on Spain’s Northern Atlantic shore with its on site shipping facilities which includes their own dock and barge capable of handling equipment in excess of 2,000 tonne in one piece.

FCP site facilities cover a total area of 76,000 m2 of which 18,000 m2 are covered manufacturing and testing bays serviced with overhead cranes. These facilities include all forming, cutting and welding equipment for handling materials up to 200mm thick and they have all necessary trained coded welders, NDE personnel and equipment in-house along with the facility to carry out there own heat treatment, blasting and painting.
